Ours is a new community looking to have an escape from the modern world of screens and computers.  The International Correspondence Chess Federation (ICCF), was used to construct the basis for our gameplay rules and guidelines.  At PenPalChess.com we infuse these venerable principles with a distinctly personal touch: our games unfold not on digital servers, but through the handwritten charm of postcards. Dues are modest—a one-time $19 initiation fee covers your welcome packet (including a paper chess set, 30 postcards, your PenPal pairing and a welcome letter.  We match partners based on skill level (beginner, intermediate, expert), and shared interests, ensuring every game feels like a conversation with a kindred spirit.
